Calendar Integration

Connect Google Calendar or Outlook Calendar and convert events into billable tasks

Tail AI supports both Google Calendar and Microsoft Outlook Calendar. Connect either provider — or both — from the Calendar page, browse your events, and import them as tasks in the right project. Event titles, descriptions, dates, and durations carry over automatically so you can track time without re-entering meeting details.

Today's calendar events from both providers also appear in the My Day sidebar, giving you a single view of your schedule alongside Journal AI activity.

Google Calendar

Google Calendar

Open Calendar Integration from the Calendar page and select the Google Calendar tab. Click Connect Google Calendar to authorize with your Google account. Once connected, filter between past and upcoming events, select the ones you want to import, choose a project, and create tasks.

See the January 16, 2026 release notes for the original Google Calendar launch.

Outlook Calendar

Outlook Calendar

Open Calendar Integration from the Calendar page and select the Outlook Calendar tab. Click Connect Outlook Calendar to sign in with your Microsoft account and authorize calendar access. Tail AI reads your events but never modifies or deletes them on your behalf.

Once connected, your Outlook events load automatically. Filter between past and upcoming meetings, select the events you want to bill for, assign them to a project, and click Create Tasks. Events you've already imported are skipped automatically to prevent duplicates.

See the June 16, 2026 release notes for the full Outlook Calendar launch details.
